Simmons & Simmons is a world-class international law firm with over 2,000 employees and 20 offices located in major business and financial centres throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia. In 2008, the firm realigned its positioning to be a first choice law firm for clients across all offices, rather than at a local level. The positioning work also concluded that the firm’s brand values needed to be tweaked to reflect a bold, bright firm.
The design strategy mirrored this. Imagery used stunning world-class photography of natural wonders to demonstrate macro – the bigger picture, and micro – attention to detail. Philosophy designers worked closely with the firm’s in-house design team to create style guidelines that worked across the globe.
