Philosophy was appointed by The Royal British Legion to create a new visual style and campaign theme for its renamed travel service ‘Poppy Travel’. The brief was challenging – to raise the awareness and profile of the service and to increase take-up across all potential audiences (from teachers to Legion members).
Philosophy created a new, contemporary look and feel for the service; all content was rationalised so that the new designs were engaging and information was accessible for all audiences. The photographic theme of ‘now and then’ was developed to create a powerfully emotive link between the past and present day. This was especially key for the school audience. We produced tour leaflets, schools and adult tours brochures. The new-look website was a huge success, taking bookings for tours even before the brochures were sent out to prospective clients.
